ok, so I watched Bran’Nu bka Brandy perform on her show on VH1, Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business, and must I say that I really was feeling this new Bran’Nu movement! At first when I heard Brandy was going to start ‘ rapping, I was like, ok…really?? Because I have always been a fan of Femcees. However after watching her performance of “Symphony” a song off Timbaland’s album at the House of Blues, she had me sold, and proved me wrong! In the mid ’90s , singers Brandy and Monica were at the peak of their careers, they had a single together “The Boy is Mine” which topped the charts in the late ’90s. After the single rumors were circulating that Brandy and Monica didn’t like each other and that it even came to blows! More than 10 years later these now grown ladies talk about the beef they had back in the day. They also show that they have nothing but love for each other, and there are also talks about another collaboration!
