The Karate Kid, a movie I watched growing up is being remade this time with actor Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith, who is being instructed by Jackie Chan. In the preview below you will also see that one of my favorite actors, Taraji P. Henson, is staring as the karate kid’s mother. Definately gonna have to see this when it comes out in theaters June 11, 2010!
Yesterday I FINALLY saw the new Tyler Perry movie “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” and can I say it was MUCH better than the last one “Madea goes to jail” it is a MUST SEE. It’s like an emotional roller coaster, Taraji P. Henson, in whom I’m a HUGE fan did a spectacular job in portraying her character. It was her first leading role in a movie, and I hope it’s not her last. The music in the movie was kinda overwhelming in which i wish i had a remote to fast forward the whole numbers being performed but thats the only thing I didnt like about the movie. Also a couple celebrity cameos Mary J. Blige, Gladys Knight, and others.
